Welcome at Reizigershofstede (the Traveller’s Homestead),
We wish you a pleasant stay in our home in beautiful Montferland. A large number of cafes, bars and restaurants are located within walking distance in the town and its direct surroundings. You’ll also be able to walk straight into nature from your apartment, or visit the oldest functional mill in Western Europe, which is located at the top of the Möllebelt.
We strive to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our aim has been to furnish the apartment tastefully, comfortably and with high-quality materials. Of course, you’re more than welcome to get in touch with us if you have any questions or concerns. If you notice anything that isn’t in good working order, please let us know.

WIFI, Internet and television
The apartment is provided with a 500MB optical fibre connection, which can be used via WiFi or through one of the network connection points in the living room and bedroom.

The apartment is provided with a television and a range of channels to choose from. Apps such as Netflix and other streaming services can also be used on the television. You can use these using your own account. Please remember to log off when checking out. The settings on the television are quite extensive, and are set correctly. Please do not change the settings if you cannot reset them to their current state.
Heating
The apartment is fitted with underfloor heating, which has a constant temperature and is generally very comfortable. Adjustments to the temperature setting will take a while to be effective due to the floor’s large mass. The underfloor heating in the bedroom has been set to a slightly lower temperature by default. The air vent in the window frame can be opened by pushing the lever upwards. If you run into any issues controlling the indoor temperature and air quality, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
Visitors
Your guests are, of course, welcome to visit when you’ve booked the apartment. However, visitors are not permitted to stay overnight. The apartment is not suited for this purpose. In this case, please contact us. We may have another B&B room available.
Parking
We have a large parking space, where, using the space effectively, 3 cars can be parked. You can park your car in front of the green garden door. If these parking spaces are in use, usually a space will be available along the front of the house.
Charging your car
If you would like to charge your car (or any other electric vehicle), you can use the charging point in the parking space (against payment). The charging point supplies up to 11 kWh. When your vehicle is fully charged, please make the charging point available to other users. It is not permitted to charge your car from the apartment using an extension cable.
Garden
The garden behind the green door in the parking space has been made available for your use. The garden has been provided with a table and two garden chairs.
Bicycles
If you wish, you can put your bike in the shed. Electric bikes can also be charged there free of charge. On request, you will receive a key to the bike shed.
Waste
Separating and recycling waste is important to us, and we hope you share these values. In case the waste bins inside the apartment are full, please use the bins outside to deposit waste. These can be found around the parking space.
Laundry
Items in the apartment that need to be laundered can be put into the mail bag in the bathroom.
Welcome package
On your arrival, we’ll provide you with a welcome package containing coffee, tea, sugar, biscuits, some drinks, dishwashing tablets and cleaning supplies. You will also find pepper, salt, oil, vinegar and muesli. You may use this, but please leave the remaining items behind when you check out, so they can be enjoyed by the next guests.
Checking out
The apartment has been cleaned before your arrival, and we ask that you return the apartment to its clean and tidy state when checking out. Leaving some used dishes is, of course, no problem.
If there was anything you felt was missing during your stay, or if you have any remarks or tips that would improve your next stay, we would love to know. If anything was accidentally broken or damaged during your stay, please let us know.
